Every Word Opens a World
Literacy For All brings joyful, effective literacy programs to children, families, and adults across the Metro-Detroit area — because every learner deserves a chance to thrive.
"Reading changes everything."
Our Programs
Two pathways. One mission. Unlimited possibilities.
K–12 Literacy Programs
From phonics foundations to reading fluency, our after-school and weekend programs meet leaners where they are — and help them soar. We seek partnership with area schools and other community hubs to bring engaging, culturally responsive literacy instruction to every learner.
Adult Literacy & GED Prep
It's never too late to build confidence with reading and writing. Our adult programs offer flexible scheduling and a welcoming community where every learner is celebrated.
Why Literacy For All Exists
Michigan ranks 44th in the nation for literacy. We're here to change that — one learner, one family, one community at a time.
"A community that reads together, grows together."
